Here’s how you can help out
“Help one another. There’s no time like the present, and no present like the time.” – James Durst
There is no greater gift than that of time and expertise given by volunteers in support of a worthy community cause.
This gift enables us to continue our work raising community awareness of bowel cancer symptoms, the importance of early diagnosis, and access to treatment options throughout New Zealand.
As a Bowel Cancer New Zealand volunteer, you can share your talents and knowledge within a supportive and progressive environment, have fun learning new skills and meeting interesting people, and ‘pay it forward’ so you can make a real and positive difference in your community.
Our volunteers come from all walks of life and assist us in a variety of ways:
– our annual street collections in June
– marketing and promotion
– fundraising
– public awareness speaker
– peer support person
If you have some time available and would like to know more about volunteering and how you can help, please contact us.
Thank you. We look forward to hearing from you.
