More than 3,000 people – one in every seven New Zealanders – are diagnosed with bowel cancer every year. 90% are aged 50 and over.
Work with us, and together we will lower these statistics.
Bowel cancer is treatable and beatable. In fact, 75% of bowel cancers are curable if detected early. We want to spread the word about bowel cancer, heighten awareness of prevention and symptoms, encourage conversations, and promote regular bowel screening and research.
How can you help?
One-off donations of any amount, large or small, are gratefully received. Here are some ways your donations can help us:
$25 provides our printed information to patients, families, and caregivers
$50 helps train our Community Awareness and Peer Support Volunteers
$75 supports the facilitation of our closed Facebook support group page for those experiencing bowel cancer
$100 supports our June National Bowel Cancer Awareness Month campaign
$150 contributes to our research projects to improve patient outcomes
Setting up regular monthly giving can help assure the continuity of our life-saving work in the future.
